The long-awaited season of blooming buds has arrived at Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens.
Across the garden, vibrant bulb flowers such as tulips and grape hyacinths — imported from the Netherlands last year — are now blossoming in full splendor. From brilliant reds and yellows to soft pinks and purples, the variety of blooms adds a cheerful atmosphere, enchanting visitors with their colorful charm.
On April 15, 2025, Nicolai Bergmann Hakone Gardens will celebrate its 3rd anniversary. From April 12 to May 11, the main street of the gardens will be transformed into an “Object Street,” featuring a series of captivating installations crafted from natural materials—branches, stones, and more—collected from within the gardens. Set against the lush backdrop of Hakone Gora’s nature, these artistic creations will beautifully commemorate this special milestone.
Guests can also enjoy a guided tour led by Nicolai Bergmann himself, take part in an outdoor flower workshop, and savor a special 3rd anniversary lunch at NOMU hakone featuring seasonal ingredients sourced locally.
